Before Your Visit
Your First Appointment and Policies
Every appointment begins with a complimentary consultation where Dawn evaluates your goals, discusses treatment options, answers your questions, takes before photos, and obtains consent. If you choose to proceed, treatment happens the same day.
Please cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. Missed appointments without notice incur a $100 fee.
No. Cosmetic aesthetic treatments are elective and not covered by insurance. All pricing is out-of-pocket.
Inside Phenix Salon at 8174 S. Kipling Pkwy, Unit 190, Suite 113, Littleton, CO 80127. When you arrive at the locked entrance, text Dawn and she will let you in. Free parking is available on-site. See the Contact page for a map.
For injectables, avoid blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for a few days before your appointment to minimize bruising risk. Skip alcohol the night before. For chemical peels, Dawn will prescribe a Lira Clinical prep regimen starting 2 to 4 weeks in advance. For any treatment, avoid scheduling within two weeks of a vaccine. Dawn will give you complete prep instructions after booking.
Most of Dawn's patients were first-timers at some point. Your first appointment always begins with a free consultation before any treatment is discussed or performed. Dawn evaluates your anatomy, listens to your goals, and gives you her honest clinical recommendation. There is zero pressure to proceed that day. Many patients book the consultation and start treatment the same visit once they feel confident.

Treatments
Common Questions About Treatments
Dawn will assess your skin and goals during your consultation and recommend the right neuromodulator for you. All three relax muscles to reduce expression lines. The difference is in onset speed, purification process, and pricing. There is no pressure to decide before you have had a chance to ask questions. Learn more on the Botox & Dysport and Letybo pages.
Downtime is the healing period when you may have swelling or bruising. Botox, Dysport, and Letybo have no required downtime. Fillers may cause bruising or swelling, otherwise little to no downtime. DandeGlow Microneedling has zero downtime with mild redness possible for 24 hours. IPL may cause redness and discomfort for up to 24 hours and darker pigment for 7 to 14 days. Chemical peels and microdermabrasion may have a few days of recovery depending on treatment depth and intensity. Dawn will give you a complete aftercare overview at your appointment.
Dawn recommends waiting at least two weeks before or after any vaccine, dental treatment (including dental cleaning), or medical procedure before receiving aesthetic treatments. Always plan to share your medical and dental history with Dawn.
Botox and Dysport results typically last 3 to 4 months. Letybo has a similar duration. Results vary based on the treatment area, the number of units used, your muscle strength, and how your body metabolizes the product. Dawn will help you plan a maintenance schedule at your consultation.
It depends on which areas you are treating and your individual muscle strength. Common ranges: forehead lines typically take 10 to 20 units, frown lines (the 11s) take 20 to 25 units, and crow's feet take 10 to 15 units per side. Most patients treating multiple areas use 40 to 60 units per visit. Dawn gives a personalized unit estimate during your free consultation before any treatment begins.
Botox, Dysport, and Letybo are neuromodulators. They relax the muscles that cause expression lines — forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet. Dermal fillers like Juvéderm and RHA restore volume that has been lost over time, lifting cheeks, defining lips, and smoothing deep folds. The two work differently and address different concerns. Many of Dawn's patients use both as part of a complete treatment plan.
Yes. Dawn regularly combines neuromodulators and dermal fillers in a single appointment. Some combinations, like injectables with a chemical peel or microneedling, may require spacing. Dawn will advise on sequencing during your consultation based on your specific goals.
Most patients describe it as a brief pinch. The needles used are very fine, and treatment takes only 5 to 10 minutes. No numbing is required. Dawn works methodically and checks in throughout the appointment. The Teresa Bowden review on this site specifically mentions that Dawn bent over backwards to accommodate comfort, even for treatments patients expected to be painful.
The DandeGlow Microneedling is Dandelion's signature microneedling treatment. It treats the face and neck using controlled micro-channels to stimulate your skin's natural collagen and elastin production. The result is improved texture, tone, and hydration with no recovery downtime. It is $1,325 for a package of three sessions, which includes a full-sized post-treatment skincare regimen. See the DandeGlow Microneedling page for full details.
